I am a wife, and mom to 4 contrasting busy kiddos! After my husband got out of the military, we took our little family to settle down in Door County, WI on a little island where we met when we were teenagers! We wanted a slower pace. So to stay extra busy I collect animals to add to our funny farm. I pretend to know what I'm doing when it comes to farm life, but i'm winging it every day. When I'm not chasing animals, or getting snacks for my kids every 5 minutes- I am chasing other peoples kids while jumping around singing their favorite song, hyping up the love birds in front of my lens, or encouraging a mom to be. I have always had a nostalgic heart and a camera in my hand. Whether it was a good ol' disposable, a little digital (hello myspace days), a smart phone, or my "big girl" camera, I have always wanted to photograph everything. I have an attachment to photos, and I love being filled with that feeling I felt in that memory, just by looking back on them. I have been a professional photographer for 5 years! I love hanging out with my clients and getting to know other peoples stories. I want to create a safe space for you, so you can feel comfortable being yourself. It's the best way I can tell your story through the photos I give you. I'm excited to get to know you!
